This is just a nice example of what Panama City has to offer the cultural world. The museum is very quiet, and colorful. As with everything else you see in Panama City, there is much history in this museum and it’s a nice place to...More

It costs $15 to get into this ruins site. Is it nice to see? Probably. Do you need to visit to know about the history? NO! In the small museum there are some artifacts that are nice to see, and other than the tower the...More

$15 dollars to get in. Very expensive for a spread out Ruin site. Very boring.....not worth doing unless history is your thing....We walked around about an hour and saw a couple of old ruin walls....Doesn't compare to other sites like Delphi in Greece. Honestly there...More

You can pretty much only get here by taxi. If you take an Uber, be careful with the destination you enter, as there also a city district called Panama Viejo and while it's close, it's across the highway from the ruins. The museum is pretty...More

Panama Viejo was an amazing place to experience the history of the oldest settlement in Panama. The artifacts in the museum as well as the ruins that you can walk around & see are a testament of the cultural heritage of Panama.

A little pricey for walking around on your own. The small museum was worth a fee. Interesting history and the art you can purchase in the artist area is amazing.

There is not much to see at the museum and information is not enough either. I suggest you go straight to the ruins for a walk-around.
