What a fantastic trip, full of history, and wildlife. Toucans in the trees and crocs in the water. Until you get there you forget you are in the middle of a rainforest. Had to do the full transit. Boat was comfortable, but a bit noisy. The guide was very knowledgeable about how the canal was built and why. Fascinating finding... More

My parents visited the Panama Canal about two years before we decided to go this year on our annual visit a new place for New Year's trip. We were provided recommendations on Miraflores Visitor Center. If you appreciate engineering and/or history, Miraflores is a great place. Visiting Miraflores and then the boat ride - next day - through Panama Canal... More

We celebrate our end of the year, and New Year in a cruise, and one of the destination was Panama Canal, beautiful people, beautiful country, and spectacular experience crossing Panama Canal with the ship, and then in a Ferry. An experience that everyone has to live. Once in life.

The visitor centre is well-laid out and the displays attractive and informative. It's about 4 or 5 stories tall, and the viewing from the top is the best for seeing the ships as... More

Excellent tour. Be ready to spend the majority of your day. Took 45 min bus to Lake Gatun to board the boat which went through the lake and two sets of locks, back to Flamenco marina. May want to book a taxi to pick you up at end of tour, ahead of time. Food was a casada, it had rice,... More

The tour comes to your hotel and wisks you away in an air conditioned bus. Off you go to your destination on a boat older than than Panama canal with even more history! Not to worry the vessel is more than seaworthy. Your MC, tour guide, is known affectionately as JC short for Juan Carlos. Your day will be filled... More
