Incredible Views

Certainly an amazing area. Views are stunning. Make sure you wear hiking boots. Across the street there is an excellent place to get a bite to eat

We made this hike at dusk. There were beautiful views from the top. When we finished there was a market at the bottom. The most amazing papusas for less than a dollar and fresh coconuts to drink!

a mere 45 minute bus from town is this little wonder of a attraction. the bus from the historic centre seemed to leave every 10-15 minutes.. and drops you off right where you need to be. A mixture of about 5 little different climbs.. only ranging between 2 minutes and 10 minutes.. but offering great views from both directions, and... More

Excellent views and worth the climb. Wear good hiking shoes though as the rocks are rugged and uneven. Not many handrails so one should be in fairly good physical health to make the climb all the way to the top. Too bad the area isn't kept clean of litter as it detracts from the experience. Historical area.

This place is awesome in every way; the climb is tough but worth it. The view is awesome from all the areas. Just climbed one mountain, it was rough but worth it. A must try.

This is an easy hike to the top, with nice views of the valley, lakes and volcanoes in the the distance. It can get crowded on the weekend. It's great to know the history of this place before going. There are food vendors there so no need to bring your own. There's also a zipline which I never tried.

It was a great experience. I had fun climbing the hill. It was a beautiful site. I enjoyed hearing the story that led to the name "Puerta del Diablo". I must say I was even more surprised by the number of small restaurants along the way. I ate all sort of local dishes!

Camping and typical dinner under the stars, guitar music, stunning scenery, cool climate and security, the next morning, if you have good physical condition and adventurous spirit, you can enjoy hiking on the mountain, to see variety of birds, deer tail white released and other kinds of wildlife. it is amazine

I've been here a few times now and I always enjoy the hike and the view. Lovely, friendly people along the way! Try to go on a clear day! Parking is a bit crazy, but our drivers always somehow manage!
