Very insightful into El Salvador's history and contemporary culture. Many themes of indigenous rights, liberation, protest, violence and just some great art. I would have taken more away if my Spanish were stronger. Worth the trip.

$1.50 for adults, free on Sundays! Very near the Sheraton Hotel and Guzman Anthropolgy Museum. Interesting permanent and temporary exhibits. We spent about 45 minutes here. Gift shop off lobby has nice women’s blouses! Clean bathrooms.

My 7 year old grandson and I went to the museum one morning last week. The exhibits were really nice. I know I should be able to read Spanish but even a short explanation in English would have been appreciated.

The museum was under construction and also part of it was blasting loud music for a private party. I'm pretty confused by what the overall intention is here.

Apparently, Sundays are free entry - but no one else seemed to be there when I arrived. I basically had the museum all to myself for an hour! The special exhibits were still in set-up, so the collection I could see was more limited, but...More

A small but very well managed museum. It shows a very good art collection: not only painting but also a few nice sculptures. It has, also, a nice restaurant and gift shop. Excellent location, near major hotels, theaters and city highlights.
