We came very late and didn't have to pay the entrance , but were also not able to see the caves. It is breathtaking with an even more amazing view of the Dniepar river and left bank of Kiev.

Not much to say about the churches that hasn't been said in the numerous reviews below. But the advice about whether or not to go into the caves is about evenly split so I'm adding my vote. Not really worth it from what I can...More

Many priests ride luxury cars and behave bad. Although the place has very old buildings and historic places. Anyway, it’s a good place if you are in Kyiv to see churches.

Unesco-protected world Heritage, and beautifully restored place. Sure place to visit in Kiev! But unless you understand Ukranian or Russian, you're really on your own. So make sure to have a good travelguide with the history of this place, or book a guided tour.

I'm not religious however I found this trip very cool. Seeing the way the religious folk are so devout. Entering the caves which has many bodies interred there was an eye opener. The cathedrals and grounds are also awe inspiring.
