After a long and interesting excursion we went to this park. GREEN PARK GIVES COOL IN SUMMER DAYS. It is pleasant to sit under the tree crowns and relax while watching chess players or sportsmen.

So you would consider the great Ukrainian poet when coming to his statue, strewn with flowers and other homage and surrounded by playing children. A good chance to meet ordinary Ukrainans proud or thei identity - and justly so.

Shevchenko park is the best manicured park in the city. Lots of interesting things here - always chess games going on in one corner. I'm pretty convinced the unique benches throughout the park are some sort of design assignment from the university across the street. GREAT restaurant inside the park and around the edges. Really good stuff for kids. Always... More

I usually walk through this park every time I visit a restaurant called Yolk. The park typically has festivals to celebrate main stream holidays. Small coffee shops and trailer based cafes line the perimeter of the park. Typically there are several photo areas where you can stop for photos or to snap a selfie. The park is always clean and... What a lovely park. It has the perfect blend - beautiful and peaceful yet plenty of people about to give the park a bit of life. Loved the slice of local life seeing families relaxing; children at play, joggers, couples and friends having a walk or a chat. Beautifully maintained with lovely trees, shrubs and lawns. Loads of little gathering... More

This is an attractive and well maintained park with pony rides for kids as well as playground. O'Pana's restaurant is an excellent one for authentic Ukrainian cuisine which is located at this park. There are a number of pavilions for eating outside. This is a good place to take a break from the normal tourist routine. Right across the street... More

A great combination with all the amazing churches and after shopping. Just walk around, or sit on the benches. Very nice in autumn!

Great place to go for a stroll or just sit and people watch. So many different styles of benches and nice little play area for children. There are small cafes and a larger restaurant located here.
