the most centrally located, my favorite free walking place with very old trees, nice views, good playground for kids, some small cafes, and roller-skating area. Highly recommend.

This is a nice park that is just comingbinto bloom in April. There are nice views of the river, the famous Mariinsky Palace and the Dynamo Kiev football stadium but ny personal favourite is the Freedom arch which I like from afar. Mariinsky Park takes up a stretch of about 2km of parkland parallel to the River Dnipro, stretching from near the Arsenalna Metro Station to European Square (Khreschatyk). My in-laws live about 50 metres from the northern entrance of the park, so a daily walk through the park was a must! Sadly, Kiev city council approved buildings which obscure some wonderful... More

Also the Lovers bridge that connects Mariyinsky and Kreschatyi parks is situated there. The lovers attach small locks to the bridge believing their love will... More

The wind was blowing and all the colorful leaves were flying through the air creating a cold invigorating morning. I love the fountain and hope to return in summer when it is working.
