Very beautiful and really big park in the heart of the city. With big fountain in the center, small scene for outdoor concerts, bridge with many locks that newlyweds leave here, old trees, museum of water. Very close to the governmental buildings. Beautiful panoramic view. The place is nice any season of the year

Mariinsky Park is around 130 years old and is really big. You can admire beautiful views from there. For me one of the best places in Kiev for a walk. Don't miss it.

Visited here first in Sep and Oct 2013, this is my favourite place to be when I feel tired or bored or sad because the strays of fountains harnessed the hopes of the future for me. You can find at least 3 fountains around the park and several monuments of the great heroes of Ukraine such as Shevshenko here. Moreover,... More

even though in the heart of Kiev it is tranquil and beautiful. Very romantic place to walk any time of year. New year is especially nice with the christmas theme, trees, lights, food and music. Well worth a couple of hours to walk in a relaxed atmosphere

I got there by mistake while on a date, and it was a superb mistake. A great romantic park, like most parks in the city by the way.

One of my favorite places in Kyiv. It's a true pleasure wondering here on your own or with your girlfriend, especislly now when autumn has come. Truly romantic atmosphere can be found on the so-called bridge of love. Strongly recommend you to visit this magnificent park.

Apart from high trees and beautiful fountains it has one of the best views of Kiev. I'd rather call this place: "Balcony of Kiev". It's very close to city center.

This is a park in the city near the river. There is a palace in the park which was close for remodeling during the visit. Many local visit there during the weekend. It is close to the another attraction - the metal arc.

Amazingly this park literally in front of my hotel,so visited the very first evening. I love parks in general, adore fountains even more. You can reach People's Friendship Arch just by crossing it. Would recommend visiting even on rainy day.

It was nice to stroll through and chat with friends, but I can't say it left much of an impression. The grass wasn't very well kept, and there wasn't much to see.
