The People's Friendship Arch offers a glimpse into the Soviet mindset, being built to recognise 60 years of the Soviet Union, which is oh so ironic today. The arch is about 50m in diameter. Beneath it are 2 statues. I appreciated the Arch for some...More

Nothing special other than something of interest if passing. There are several statues very close by that you can see at the same time. It's by the park and not far from the viewing platform overlooking the river Dneiper.

This is a great place to visit, the arch, the monuments are all worth seeing. Plus the views make it even better

I can't restrain myself from sharing my upset fro this monument of Soviet concepts to present military and political presence in a territory within the block as a friendship! Megalomaniac, zero art value, unfortunately spoiling one of the picturesque viewpoints of Kiev.

You can easily access Mariinskiy Park through some steps, and along the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium. It's only a small detour so if you are in the area, it's worth the visit.

The friendship arch is just an arch and little more than a few monuments. Great views of parts of Kiev

Nice place to take pictures and there is also a view point there. If you are in for an adventure your can also take the zip line an walk back up the hill.
