Ususal pompous Soviet style. Considering sour (to be diplomatic) Ukraine-Russian relations it's a wonder this symbol of friendship still stands.

The strange symbol of friendship between nations which are currently at the state of war de facto dates back to the Soviet Union. Though the Podil city and Dnieper river view is nice.

Great place close to Maidan Square and just in the end of the main shopping street. The view over the city and the river Dnepr is great, and despite a small amusement park situated just beside the arch, it's a very relaxing place where you...More

Although the place itself isn't exactly charming the view that you'll get from the spot on a sunny day is worth the visit. Easy to get to, at the time of my visit not many people around. Not much to do either, apart the view.
