Princess Olha was a first Christian ruler of Kyivan Rus. She was born around 890 and died around 969.

Its next to the Archangel Michael’s Church and check out the story of Her. You should see this statue to understand what makes Ukrainians as a Ukranian

I would rate the Princess Olha monument less spectacular compared to the Hetman Bohdan sculpture, but since those two are located so closely next to each other, does it not hurt to walk the couple of hundred meters to catch a short glimpse of this...More

Ukraine could improve it's historical places for English-speaking tourists by incorporating QRC codes by each monument which then directs the user to the respective Wikipedia site. Nice monument to the patron saints of the city. Princess Olga in the middle. The 2 guys on the right are the ones to create the alphabet for the Russian/Ukrainian language. Saint Andrew is on the left looking like he's ordering a taxi

This is a very nice monument to see, however, as someone not very versed in the history of Ukraine, I'm afraid I didn't fully appreciate it as someone who has a wealth of knowledge would.

Very nice statue of very strong woman. If you know the history and you know who is this, you will diffenetly enjoy the view on this monument. The location is great, if you are visiting Kiev you will pass by anyway.
