Nice church

We see this church in the night and it was beautiful illuminated. Probably better see it in the night instead of day. It situated 7-8 min walk from the Opera and ballet theatre

This is a working church and when we went there was a mass going on. It is appropriate to cover head and legs if in shorts. Beautiful architecture and interesting interior.

Come across this cathedral by chance just as a weeding party were turning up and the bells were ringing out. Stunning from the outside and even more so inside, worth seeking out.

Stopped off at St Volodymyr's Cathedral as part of a city tour with Soloeast travel. we didn't stay long as it was very early in the morning and as it is a proper functional church we didn't want to disrupt the service too much. there is a small charge for taking photos inside which is well worth it if you... One of many beautiful churches in Kiev. This one at least least you take pictures inside. Stunning both inside and out and worth the short walk from the main city centre.

We visited this church on own. Very crowded during church service. Beautiful inside and out. Many vendors in front of the church

This is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in. They see to accept visitors even when there's a wedding or service going on, provided you act respectfully. It's an Orthodox Cathedral, so very interesting to compare with Catholic, Protestant and other cathedrals in Europe.

A very beautiful and accessible church in the centre of Kyiv. Worth a quick visit but it is a tourist trap.

Beautiful cathedral with works by Nesterov, Vasnetsov, and Vrubel. The stand immediately inside the door and to the right has a hardcover, blue book on Ukraine with pictures of some of the paintings here, as well as many other sites; it wasn't on display. We asked about it, after showing a picture of Vasnetsov's.
