Very interesting place. It looks like it fell out of a fairy tale. Our guide gave us a lot of very interesting information, and despite cold weather, we have enjoyed.

The fortress is well marked and easy do get. It is situated very near a nice shopping area in Belgrade. There were a pack of stray dogs living there that... More

It was a short visit but we got to take photos at some WWII tanks and cannons. Ideal for World of Tanks players to "show off" with their photos of Stug, T-34, PzII...

Not only is the structure interesting architecturally and historically. it provides a stunning view of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, illustrating the strategic importance of Belgrade.

The Belgrade Fortress, located high on the hilltop above Belgrade on a very strategic location is definitively worth a visit. Next to some magnificent views, you will discover an old orthodox church with beautiful mosaics, the chapel with lanterns made out of sabers and ammunition shells, as well as a very recommended military museum containing a multitude of weapons and... It's a lovely place and a must visit in a Belgrade tour. The castle's history goes back to Roman times. The view is fantastic. Also the park seems lovely but would prefer to see in spring instead of winter
