Try Republike or 'kod konja' is the most popular meeting place in Belgrade. It's central location connects the main square to the main pedestrian street, Knez Mihailova, the National Theatre and the National Museum. I usually meet friends and family there when in the city centre. I stopped at the Monument Caffe overlooking the square for a coffee break. The... More

Trg Republike (or better known "kod konja" with locals, that translates to "by the horse") is one of the most popular places in Belgrade. Surrounded by many important and interesting buildings (National Theater, National Museum, Theater Bosko Buha, etc) it is also a well known meeting point for tourists and locals alike. The plaza is dominated by the monument of... More

Near to Knez Mihailova and the city transit system, this is a good place to find and meet up with your friends in Belgrade before you head out for a bite to eat or a drink in one of the nearby street-side eating places.

The busiest street in Belgrade, where all the fancy stores are and the people love to hang out, truly one of the most important places there!

It is the most central city center. The very place where old Belgrade walls were located and that leads to the Pedestrian Walking Strip on the one hand and to the rest of Belgrade city.

It's usually been called "Kod Konja" (at horse) and presents the main meeting point of all locals. I don't recommend to stay there for a longer period because there're many better places around. You will see this place anyway because it leads to all main streets in Belgrade.

All trips in town start at this point. A nice meeting place for visiting Belgrade attractions, shopping streets (in particular Knez Mihailova), and cafes.

Not a very nice place. Very noisy and busy. Some restaurants around with lots of tourist around. Good place to catch a local bus.
