- Dimitrios BEdessa, Greece145 contributionsRoad trip to Balkan capitalsA must visit area in the old city centre. The pedestrian street is the place we’re beats the heart of Belgrade. Numerous of caffe and restaurants located there. From there is very easy the access to the other city land marks as the fortress Kalemegdan, the Serbian Patriarch building ie.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 18 January 2024
- IlyaS4 contributionsCenter of BelgradeNice pedestrian street, with shops, cafe's and some protests. A good place tom take a stroll when you have time between flights, as getting to the center of Belgrade takes about 30 min by mini bus. Exchange booths are everywhere, prices are for tourists, of course, but food is reasonable!Visited September 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 January 2024
- Lyubomir TSofia, Bulgaria55 contributionsInterestng walking street full with surprises.Their main walking street for sure its spectacular and interesting on its own. The most interesting thing is they have stages where there is a live band playing all the time. I haven't seen something like that in other cities, but this amazed me the most. Its interesting to stop by and listen if the style they are playing fit your taste.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 May 2024
- Jared22 contributionsBeautiful, full of nice shops and restaurants!Beautiful street to walk around. You can't go to Belgrade without walking around this area. It is super lively, and people are out and about until well past midnight so it feels extremely safe at all hours. The restaurants are open late and the coffee shops open early so there's always somewhere to sit down and hang outVisited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 August 2024

Pedestrian area in the heart of Belgrade full of shops, restaurants and cafe's that offers wonderful mix of tourists and locals. Most of the mentioned restaurants and cafe's are excellent so you won't go wrong with taking a break in any of them.
In holiday time street is beautifully decorated.

Lovely place to walk and get distracted with the shops and local sellers ... you can find from regular high street shops like Terranova, Zara , souvenir shops, etc... there are lots of money exchange offices, and other kind of shops like art galleries, banks, also some people on street selling scarfs, ties and art.
Along that place there are also take away food and some restaurants to enjoy.

A pretty main drag surrounded by bars and restaurants. If you need a Serbian sim the main phone companies are represented.
If you’re here for a short time you’ll probably gravitate to this area. If you’re here longer then you’ll spend time elsewhere.

It is the most busy street for pedestrians in Belgrade. It is nice but for my taste very touristic. There are many other places in Belgrade like Zemun District and Gardos tower. Of course it is the city center and it is a must see because you can visit by foot Kalmegdan castle and the nearby Zoo.

We asked our concierge at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade where to look for souvenirs. They recommended this street because it is pedestrian only and it is packed with shops and restaurants and no cars.
It was very nice because Belgrade is a busy city with lots of cars going every which way. We found some souvenirs and looked at some menus for restaurants and made notes to come back.

This shopping area is really nice to walk around. Now during COVID all the stores require a mask before entering, but outside it doesn't seem mandatory. There are some nice places to sit and have a drink or enjoy some roasted chestnuts.

Long, very nicely reconstructed Main Street offers a variety of brand shops and a lots of small restaurants and caffe bars. Looks very much like Central Europe city centers. Super safe

Take bus 72 from the Nicola Tesla airport to city center, Zeleni Venac. Kneza Mihaila street is just 10 minute walk from Zeleni Venac, after walking through the underpass.
Great street to stay and do some pass time watching people.

This is the standard pedestrian walking street you find in Europe. There is nothing exceptional about this one. There is a lot of graffiti and trash. But I enjoyed the live music playing and the hustle and bustle of people just walking around. If you are in Belgrade, definitely spend some time walking around here.

Bien amicalement
