This river could be seen from the fortress and it cross through the heart of Belgrade City Center. You wont miss it if you are at the outlook near the Fortress.

I've seen the save river in Croatia and now here in Belgrade and it really doesn't have very much eye appeal. It's actually quite dirty with the water being a greenish brown color and lots of things? floating in the river.

The river divides the city into two parts, the best view of the Belgrade fortress. There are many tourist boats, restaurants and bars along the river. I think there is a big beach.

If you are in Belgrade go thru the street of Kneza Mihajlova and you will get there to have a great view on new and old Belgrade.
