It was really bad experience. Toilets are bad, you don't feel safe and it stinks a lot. Almost got attacked by a bunch of fans with red colors.

We were there last March for the DERBY: Red Star vs Partizan ( Deliae vs Grobari).
Incredible atmosphere, lot of police and security, everything was under control by the police.
We had VIP TRIBUNE seat so we had an excellent view of the watch and the whole field.
Supporters of RED STAR made an unbelievable choreography , we felt the spirit of this DERBY. Partizan supporters made some trouble with fire but everithing gone very safety.
We will come back as soon as possible, may be for the next Champions League match.
Hvala!

Whether you are a Red Star supporter or not, no trip to Belgrade is complete without coming here. You can take photos outside and inside the stadium as well as taking photos on the army tanker truck just outside the stadium.

There are 2 stores that you can go too, to purchase Red Star merchandise. You have the Red Star shop which sells Red Star merchandise (jersey’s, jackets, pants etc) and you have the Delije supporter shop which sells Red Star supporter merchandise.

If you are coming to watch the football, don’t be alarmed as the experience will be totally different to what you are used to. The atmosphere will be nothing like you have seen before! Enjoy the experience.

This is a tough one to rate, the stadium is certainly showing its age. Apparently there is a 10 year renovation project to bring is back to Champions League final standard. Attendance for matches (Partizan and some Champions League games may be the exception) is low, The stadium looked barely a quarter full for the match we saw against Vozdovac. However, you can't help but be impressed by the passion of the ultra Zvezda fans, they chant and jump up and down for the entire game. Naturally there are flares and even fireworks. Only a few dozen visiting supporters completely surrounded by security, we weren't aware of any trouble, plenty of police in riot gear around if anything did happen. We sat in the VIP section of the west stand the view was great, but with the running track you do feel further away from the action. The west stand is a good bet for visitors because it's covered. I wouldn't suggest the ultra section for anyone who doesn't know the chants or doesn't want to jump up and down for 90 minutes+. The catering wasn't high class, but perfectly adequate and at least as good as most UK grounds. Must be the only football stadium anywhere that has a tank (no longer used) outside,
provides a different photo opportunity.

Finally, we bought our tickets the day before the match, bought some bits from the Red Star shop (international prices), and took the opportunity to visit the museum. This is well worth doing for 200 rsd, the guide is brilliant, a true Zvezda fan, a really nice guy with an encyclopaedic knowledge of everything Red Star. Can talk about specific games as if they happened the day before (in our case he was recalling a match against Watford in the 1980's), his knowledge of football generally is vast. We spent an hour with him he took photos of us in the directors area, showed us all the bits he thought we would particularly like, suggested some areas to visit in Belgrade. All in all 10 out of 10 for him and the museum.

A great atmosphere, with singing and chanting from the Red Star fans that I’ve never witnessed before, but the stadium is very dilapidated and open to the elements also the stands are set back from the pitch. There is little in the way of refreshments and the toilets were disgusting.

Red Star's stadium. The place of the many great matches of the team which won the European Champions Cup and Intercontinental Cup in '91.
