Though newer than many other churches, St. Michael's is impressive with all of its finery. I saw it just before it hosted a Prince's wedding, so it was truly in perfect condition.

Located near the Belgrade Fortress so is easily accessible this cathedral was completed in 1840 with the interior richly decorated in what our guide told us is Serbian neo-classicism. Worth a look.

Lovely Cathedral (Saborna Crkva) across from the Patriarchate. Very special - even though our church politics are the worst and need to be condemned.... the church is magnificent and specail, all the same!

Extremely interesting Orthodox cathedral. Outside is remarkable with its bell tower, but from inside it is even more interesting with its painted ceiling - something unusual for Orthodox churches.

Traditional Orthodox Cathedral. Not so wide, but beautiful paints and historical means inside. You'll have to pay 1 euro/ppl to enter. No issue, but the lady that receives visitors is unpolite and unkind. If you' re in short, dress, you'll have to cover your legs...More

It was a cold Sunday morning in December 2016 with a little rain, but I went to the church with my youngest daughter to listen a beautiful chorus on the Sunday Liturgy. It was a mother's holiday and priest told us a beautiful story about...More
