The old city night scene is one of the worst experience in bucharest. Stalkers, night clubs and pricy bars all in one place, competing for your attention. If you want to go out at night, find somewhere else

Visited the old town at around 11am, the place was deserted. Not many shops or restaurants open. Lots of rubbish on the ground, presumably from the night before. Lots of bars and clubs in the area. Might be a bit more lively in the evening.

I must say I couldn't say if Bucharest is clean or tidy, it was high winter and snowy like average 1 meter around. And yet, dressed with our best clothes, we walked around day and night, to feel the magic. Was really fantastic

Located in the middle of the town, this is an area of several narrow pedestrian streets full with bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. Very busy every evening. Friday-Sunday evenings are incredible busy here. Lots of young people and not only, looking to have some good time....More

It's small but definitely worth a visit if you're in Bucharest. Good place to walk around on a nice day. Plan on eating/drinking here - we found that was the best way to enjoy the atmosphere.

Been to many old towns in the world, this was kinda dreary/drab. Could do with a lick of paint or clean up. I don't mean it was dirty just not an attractive place although people where friendly when approached. Shopping not good, maybe different in...More
