When I visited the city I decided to go around and see all the parks. I had a nice view of nature, apart from the city buildings and roads.

Great place for a stroll, many activities available as well as bars and restaurants. It’s really big so you’ll get tired if you try to see the whole thing in one day. Maintenance should be better tho

I went here for a stroll during a shirt stay in Bucharest. It was a nice break from the grim buildings in Bucharest, it was very hot and there were plenty of shady places to sit, ice-cream stalls etc.

if you need a little break from the city, you can walk, jog or bike here. Other activities: boating, taking a small "vaporetto", playing tennis or table tennis ( you need to know where to go), visiting the Flower Exhibitions.

Very nice large park, good walking and the water attracts. Always busy with locals, tells you everything you need to know. A bit quiet in winter, many pitstops aren't open, but still good

This is a huge park which is just beautiful to walk through. There are lots of little areas set out - children's parks, a skateboarding area, lots of restaurants and food stalls for the summer (mostly closed when we visited). The lake is beautiful and...More

If you enter by the Arch, you are not very far from the Elisabeta Palace - by the way, this palace is inhabited currently by the former king Mihai I and is not for public visiting any more, as far as I know, but I might be... More
