If you visit Bucharest, you can't escape from it's parks. Herastrau park is one of the bigest &second me the most beautifull. In the middle there a lac, surrounded by bars & restaurants.

A park. nothing more. Kids may enjoy the 25 minutes boat tour on the lake. Other than that not much to see or do.

A wonderful green park in the middle of a busy city You can ride a bike, enjoy a stroll on the alleys or have a nice boat ride on the lake

Beautiful, large park with a nice lake, attractions for the kids and plenty of shade. Great way to pass a few hours.

A public park just off the hop on hop off route. Easy access to village museum. Lovely park with places to eat and drink- snacks, ice cream etc. Spent a very pleasant few hours.

I walked to the park from the old town and it was well worth the trek especially on such a hot day. This is a stunning park.

This place was made to walk through, enjoy and unwind. Worth taking a stroll, or even just sitting/laying down with head phones and and relaxing.

We went on a lake trip and enjoyed pleasant walks as well as the Village Museum, gift shop and a lemonade while seeing local children enjoying the play areas and park. There are good food places too.

It used to be one of the most beautiful parks. Has a lot of green area, and nice lake. The prices for a water or icecream in the park are triple as a regular store. Is very crowded and not as clean as it used...More

It depends on the time of the year. In summer, there are several restaurants with very nice terraces at the lake, or just terrases. I can reccomend Il Locale, Funky Club, Nuba, Biutiful. If winter, you can try La Brasserie... More

If you enter by the Arch, you are not very far from the Elisabeta Palace - by the way, this palace is inhabited currently by the former king Mihai I and is not for public visiting any more, as far as I know, but I might be... More
