The Triumph Arch is located near the south entrance to Herastrau Park and Village Museum. It is similar with the Triumph Arch in Paris.

Very nice triumph arch but its a shame that there are traffic jams so often and its making ruckus. Arch is close to museum of romanian village and park.

Located at the north of the city next to park Herăstrău, is this proud arch standing 27 metres. A monument to independence gained from ottoman rule in 1878.

This monument is really splendid but there is not much you can do there, there is also no taxi station nearby so it is quite difficult to go. It is a good spot for taking a few photos. You can go here after having a stroll in Herastrau park. There is a similar but miniaturized version in Chisinau.

It was maybe the coldest time of the year 1 meter snow And yet we walked around and looked up to this triumph of glory, covered with snow. Worth visiting

Impressively in the wrong location for a sightseeing attraction, unless you like passing sights by taxis and be on your way.

It's something that is worth seeing, but not that much to do there (as you probably can guess). It definitely should be on your checklist :)

No matter that it's a copy, but this monument is astonishing. I was impressed with it's size and beauty. One of must see places in the Bucharest. Near it is a great Herostou park.
