We were overwhelmed by the stunning beauty of this church which showcases the Orthodox style at it's most exotic and oriental. You are free to wander around the beatiful courtyard.

This is an old Orthodox Church, beautifully decorated from the outside and even more so inside. Full of hagiographies ( with missing faces) and a serene courtyard.

Not another one church. This is the most nice one in Bucharest. At the center of the city, small but very picturesque.

This is a high interes points of Bucharest. One of the oldest buildings in Bucharest an arhitectural jewel. More important a sacred place where I am aware of the Word.

This beautiful stop is a peaceful place in a busy area. You can visit the church as well as some of the grounds. It’s lit nicely at night.

It was a tiny historical nice church. At the period of communism, some of churches has been destroyed and the stones from those collapsed church has been gathered and put in the garden of this church.

Located in the city center it is a lovely monastery with beautiful architecture. Has a lovely mural on the outside wall. Bit of peace in a hectic place. Well worth the visit!

Dating back to 1724 this is an Eastern Orthodox Monastery for Nuns in Bucharest. It is located in the old town, and is free to visit. It is small place. It is extremely beautiful and peaceful.

A definite must visit while sightseeing Bucharest, it is very old with wonderful frescoes covering all of the walls, you may even get a chance to talk to the nuns in the monastery, as we did.
