For I think $3.00, you get to see typical period homes representing the different areas of the country. There were over 123 houses.

A visit to the village museum in Bucharest is well worth it. It's very affordable, especially students, and they have an abundance of houses out of different time periods.

This is an interesting outdoor museum or exhibit of the type of housing romanians lived in the rural areas of the country. There are many types of houses with some even partially below ground level.
