One of the highlights of our stopover in Bucharest. A testament to the excesses of dictatorship. The sheer scale of the building is mind-blowing - it's the 2nd largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. It's a government building, not a palace, so...More

In hindsight, I would have pre-booked online but I got there & 3 hours later was able to do the tour (you don't have to wait there until the tour, just come back at the indicated hour). The building is impressive despite representing a very...More

I walked a considerable distance to see this and was pretty disappointed. It's just a huge building left over from the days of communism. I didn't take the tour and it was difficult just crossing the street. Not worth a visit unless you got plenty...More

The No 1 thing to do in Bucharest! Absolutely mandatory! Totally amazing! And cheap, 35lei. If you want to take photos with camera pleas ask for it as you need to pay a fee. Of not... You can use your phones. Enjoy this fantastic building!

The building is very impressive and certainly has an air about it, the inside is very intricately decorated. But the only thing our boring tour guide spoke about in each room was the colour of the carpet, the material of the wall and ceiling, and...More

when we went there were 2 tours available - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. it's also worth noting that you'll need your passport when you visit as they need this for security measures.
