I expected it to be better, we passed by this building during a night walk in lypscani. You can visit inside for free if you book in advance, but when we got here they were on vacation.

This old bank building hails from a period when banks displayed their solidity with bricks and mortar. This building would feel at home on a Paris boulevard. Unfortunately, its not possible to enter the building but its has a stunning exterior.

One of the many lovely buildings on the Calea Victorei. It was built for Romania's oldest bank in 1900 obviously in a time where there were many such beautiful buildings..

This corner used to be one of the most important places for Commerce and Industry. Today you'll find offices and a charming antiques and art flea market, where you'll find antique jewelry, medals and helmets from the wars, and old tools and knick knacks.

Admire one of the best examples of last century architecture housing the "popular bank". Guided inside tours are available but even a non-guided tour will impress you.

This is yet another beautiful building on Calea Victoriei with extremely stunning architecture. It's difficult not to be impressed by the former grandeur of Bucharest, particularly in contrast with some of the dilapidated buildings.

Built in 1897, CeC Palace designed by french architect Paul Gottereau. Unfortunatelly, in night time is not well illuminated so your photos will not show the beauty of it.

A stand out historic building in old town with a magnificent facade and windows. Definitely include in your downtown wanderings. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

I wish it can be visited. The construction works started in 1897, an event attended by King Carol I and Queen Elisabeth themselves, and the building was inaugurated in 1900. Paul Gottereau was the architect in charge with the design, and he successfully lent a...More
