I visited on a Saturday afternoon and unfortunately it was closed. It's located in the Upper town near the Promenade, Museum of Broken Relationships, and St Mark's church. It's worth seeing if you are in the Upper town. I would not recommend you traveling especially...More

This church really give you an overwhelming feeling. It is sad that the old lime stones are deterating. But there are replacement with new lime stones from Italy. Must visit.

Worth a brief stop to see an elegant church from an elegant time. It's always nice to stop by local churches to see artists work in situ.

Located near St. Mark's Church which is always closed, I felt grateful when I found it open. It is a simple church, not as fancy as the other churches I visited in Zagreb. Said my prayers and took some pictures.

Zagreb is filled with some gorgeous churches and cathedrals. This one isn't so impressive from the outside; we did not go inside. It's located at the top of the funicular, near the Museum of Broken Relationships. Our guide suggested many stories start in St Catherine...More

I had read somewhere that the inside of this church is very beautiful. I tried twice but always found it closed. Other visitors also said the same. The outside is simple and nice to walk around.

Located in Upper Town, Church of St. Catherine is a baroque-style Roman Catholic church. It is overshadowed by nearby St. Mark's Church with its colorful tiled roof. Unfortunately, Church of St. Catherine is only open for mass so going inside was not an option.

It was rebuilt in the 17th century by the Jesuits, in place of another old church. It was severely damaged by fires twice and once by an earthquake, but restored completely.
