Outside the Zagreb Cathedral a fountain was built and Austrian sculptor Fernkorn was responsible for the gold-plated statues of the Virgin Mary and four angels -- the latter symbolizing the Christian virtues of Faith, Hope, Innocence and Humility. A beautiful monument, worth a stop.

Visited the church and this monument is right outside. Very tall but very well done. Very close to this monument is the clock that stopped during the earthquake. Interesting area to check out if you're near.

Just outside the main cathedral. Always busy with tourists or local church worshippers. Must see if in the area.

We saw this just outside the Cathedral, it was smaller than we expected but always had a crowd of people there either praying or taking photos.

The monument is located in the square in front of the cathedral. It is really interesting and nice. Spend some time here to admire the statues details.

Holy Mary Monument is just outside the Cathedral of the Assumption. The statute is covered in gold and standing very tall. Spend some time to appreciate the beauty or say a prayer which I did.
