About
This city center is dominated by a statue of the 19th-century governor of Croatia, which was removed by Tito in 1947 but restored in 1990 as an act of defiance.

This is the place to start in Zagreb, it's the centre from which the rest of the city radiates, and it's where you want to start. It's where everyone meets. From here you can walk and see all the major points around the city centre....More

This may be where a walking tour meets and it will certainly take you here and to the fountain (also reviewed by me) that is part of the square. Enjoy!

Nice central square with some interesting buildings and the statue of an Croatin hero. There are also people selling food and Croatian craft products, people singing and a lot of other people passing by, meeting there, waiting the bus, etc. - quite crowded.

If you spend just a little bit of time here, you will figure out most of Upper Town. Good place for coffee and people watching. Can also get tix for the trams at the news/tobacco stands along the square.

It's the usual meeting for people in Zagreb, this is where most of the tours start as well. It's in the buzzing center, whatever path you take from there, will take you someplace wonderful.
