This is the main square of the city with a very interesting history behind it. We visited it on our walking tour.

Square like many European squares. This one is the main square in Zagreb and a good starting point for anywhere you plan to go. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, small picturesque streets and markets.

Reminiscent of Montpellier and other great cities, this square is a good place to hang out. I was there for the World Cup semi-final between Croatia and England, which was crazy!

I arrived three hours early to watch the final between Croatia and France here in the square and stayed in the area for a few days. For the final, the music was great, the weather was great, but unfortunately Croatia lost the game...though that didn't...More

This square is always lively, day or night. Trams funnel off in every direction, shops abound and there's even a Müller department store for all one's daily needs, local or tourist! A good gelato place exists on the southern side just opposite the tram stop....More
