Charming, unusual art, some wonderful, some random. It’s about 6 rooms , but is also very cheap and all the things in old town Zagreb are close together. I’d recommend as a novelty!

I was excited to see this museum from all the descriptions, but we left completely bewildered, thinking, "wait... this is it? This is all there is?" I get that they're moving. But then don't keep charging people for seeing a couple of paintings in 3 small rooms!

At least we didn't pay much, because one of our party was disabled, and they get in free with a substantial discount for a companion. But I had to remind them of the policy in order to receive this. If we had to pay full price, we would have felt cheated.

From what I can gather, there was a time in the not too distant past when this was a great little art gallery with 50+ top-notch works by naive artists. But things have changed. These days, all you get are four self-proclaimed 'very important pieces' and a bunch of simplistic sketches & posters. I can normally spend hours in a good gallery, but here I was in & out in 20 minutes. An absolute waste of €5.50. Do yourself a favour & head to the local market and buy 2kg of sauerkraut instead!

The "museum" is very small. The objects to be seen - not that many - were unimpressive. Considering the entrance fee of 5,5 euros, this is not value for money.

The art here is amazing but though they advertise 1900 pieces they’re actually displaying fewer than 50. So in essence, this isn’t a Museum; it’s a very small gallery that even moving slowly takes about 20 minutes to see. It used to be much larger… they have an amazing collection, but now they only have 3 of their “very important pieces” on display.

Honestly, you can look at the photos online and the website and get most of what you would get being at the museum. There were a few nice surprises to be able to look at in person, but otherwise it was very small and quick. Some of the art just looked like bad sketchbook pages torn out and hung up last minute.

Despite the size, they had an extra employee walking around, I guess to make sure you don't do anything naughty? She was not invasive, but still somewhat uncomfortable/overkill maybe.

The price isn't terrible, but I thought there would be a lot more to view, based on the overwhelming positive reviews. They have tons of gifts and postcards, which I guess is where they get their money.

Skippable if you have limited time in Zagreb.

For 5.50€ one would expect a modicum of enlightenment. This place had 6 small rooms with only 3 or 4 with original art and the rest had posters. We were done in 15 minutes. My wife and I have visited art museums all over the world. In our view, this doesn’t fit our definition of a museum, or even a showing. We wouldn’t recommend this place to our family or friends.

Went specifically to see the art on Nov 30 and found a sign on the door that they would open on Dec 1. Came back still not open. Very Disappointed

The pictures in this museum are varied but all fascinating. You don't need to know about naive painting, you can just go and feast your eyes on the paintings. It is right opposite the museum of broken relationships - if that's your thing!
