Exibition itself was wonderfull, but the staff made the whole expirience bitter. They insisted that i leave my 10x20x30 purse in the wardrobe with all personal items because they considerd it a backpack. Even though i tried to place it in the front of the body, or wear it under my arm, the wardrobe lady called security and they were very unsettling. Same purse I had in many european museums and it was never an issue anywhere but in Klovićevi dvori, I would understand if they treated everyone the same, but when entered the exiibition on very busy day, i saw many other visitors carrying around much bigger bags, jackets and coats , walking around the sculptures.

The exhibition itself is wonderful. However, young gentleman who was selling tickets on Saturday , February 2nd (around 3:30 p.m.) should not work in an institution that promotes CULTURE because his behavior was anything but cultural.

Unfortunately, the exhibit we wanted to see was already gone, so we saw a completely different one.

I really enjoyed the copper engraving and etching paintings, since I know HOW MUCH WORK they take.

Make sure to check for the current exhibition on the day of your arrival.
Entrance is 6€ per person.

Exhibition about Mersad Berber was prepared as an example of professional presentation. The experts prepared chronological view with biography, some early works and more important series from all periods, till the late works, dedicated to the tragedy in Bosnia. Good catalogue. Smaller problem are old lights – they can’t show all details on some interesting works. Entrance fee is not cheap but your satisfaction after the visit is more worth than the price. It is possible to find some souvenirs in ground floor, visit café or find toilettes in the cellar.

Klovićevi dvori are very big and almost always show very interesting and exciting exhibitions. I have had great time there so many times. It is fun to be there! It is nicely decorated and has great location in the centre of the city.

We were lucky enough to be in Zagreb when the Becic Exhibition was on. I hadn't heard of the artist before, but i'm a big fan now. There were many paintings and drawing to see, and many rooms to explore. Definitely worth visiting.

The primary activity of the Gallery is the organization and promotion of large cultural exhibitions and the printing of catalogs and other promotional materials thematically related to the contents of exhibitions. It is also menaging the Lotrščak tower museum. How good will your experience of this place be depends on the current hosting exibition. But you may interested to know that the building once was a jesuit convent. Now it is a large gallery space.

An old monastery in Gornji grad in Zagreb is rebuilt to a huge exhibition place. Curators prepare good international exhibitions. But, some other personnel is not so professional. For Easter, Croatian Uskrs they simply close the doors without explicit information on web (Zagreb exhibition or web site Klovićevi dvori) that they will be closed all the day round. You can walk around the gallery at least for two hours when it is open. Not today.
