The bridge is located in a roundabout. In the circular there is also a park with benches. There are no places to eat in the park itself, but there are nearby.

Nice enough bridge. Lovely detail on the statues. Would suggest you put it on the list of things to see as you’re walking around.

Very disappointed that I was unable to use your store today to make a purchase. The security guard would not let us into the shop without a basket. We only wanted to buy a drink and snack and therefore did not require a basket as we were already carrying other bags. He then told us we could only leave through the entrance door when someone outside comes through and opens it. We stood waiting at the enterance with him standing in our personal space. This is not acceptable behaviour in 2022. The Security guard should not be allowed to intimidate customers in this way. We have shopped in Billa on a number of occasions and have never experienced this before. He needs retraining in how to approach customers otherwise you will loose alot of custom.

Being a big Cat person I was compelled to check out this bridge. The bridge spans the rather anemic Vladaya  River and was finished in 1891 replacing the original bridge. It is constructed of stone and gets its name from the four lions that grace it. There is a small park around the bridge which serves as a great outside area to relax, there are also ancient ruins within the park. If you are in the area, check it out.

A busy area but worth a visit! We came across a festival with activities down by the stream with music, colorful kites, and kids' activities. Otherwise, it is a crossroads with big Lion statues overlooking the bridge. It is round the corner from a busy market so while in Sofia, it is worth a visit.

Nice little bridge over a tickling stream masquerading as a river. The bridge is mostly pedestrian with tram in the middle, four lions standing guard. The lions are nice. The sketchy neighborhood surrounding the bridge is colorful to say the least.

One of the most unpleasant intersections in the city. There is a lot of traffic at any time of the day. Otherwise, the statues of the four lions are interesting.

Lion's Bridge is my favourite and lovely bridge in Sofia. It is near to the city centre and not so far away is a Central bus station, which was opened in 2004. The place is always overcrowded with people. Theare are also refugees.

Lion's Bridge is a superb stone bridge that although in itself is no big shakes, it's just an ordinary bridge over a rather none descript river, more a stream really but to me what makes this bridge special are the lion statues both sides of the bridge, they look so cool,I know the lion is the emblem of Bulgaria and these are very photogenic, make for some great photographic opportunities and if your near the bridge most definitely well worth checking out if only to admire the beautiful lion statues.
