Every day of the year you can go tot this square and find a lot of books, software and other kind of things. The quantity and quality of the books varies from brand new to very old but definitely serves a great purpose for the Bulgarians living in Sofia. For foreigners it's a great location to walk by but that's... More

Situated in the centre of the city the Slaveykov square is an iconic place to be. You can see the book stalls and breathe in the authentic style of this book market, also see the statue of the Slaveykov brothers sitting on a bench. The square is accessible via trams or on foot and links to main pedestrian streets and... More

This square is famous for its new and second hand book open market. For 1-2 euros you could also find foreign books.

At Slaveikov Square you can find the largest vintage book market in Sofia! There is also a library, a medical center and plenty of shops around. Newly built fountain look cute too.

There were a lot of different books - new and used - here but they were all in Bulgarian. To be fair there were some second hand English books but they were not great reads but then this is not an English speaking country so this seems fair. We went at about 10:30am and it was really 11am before they... More

Beautiful plaza but try to see it in the morning because it is very crowded if you come later - it becomes a book market. A few more coffee shops would be better. There is McDonalds which opens at 7.30.

Square with lots of bookseller stalls that have been there for ever. The square itself is not much and now it's surrounded by fast food establishments, there are a lot of nicer ones in Sofia. But if you like books (especially old, used books - and most are in Bulgarian) - it's a good place to browse.

This square will always remind me of my childhood, when i used to go with my parents. There are book stores there and i always use the opportunity to look for books.
