This university is central to major attractions such as Nevski monument, Alexander Nevski Cathedral, National Assembly of Bulgaria, and the Soviet Army Monument

The university has a strong reputation so it is worth seeing the source of that. Quite confined but obviously a powerhouse within. Saw some overseas students - fancy studying in Bulgarian! - and lots of Professor types.

The building looks very gothic and grand! This is centrally located and Bulgarians are proud of this university which is their center of learning.. Since most of the historical government buildings are located close by, visiting this place must be easy by foot!

Amazing architecture and well worth going to see these buildings. Truly spectacular. Bear in mind that this is a working academic institution.

The main building is definitely a great sight worth of taking a picture when passing by, especially as it's not to far from other sights as the Nevski cathedral and downtown Sofia, but you can't do much more there than taking this photo.
