Nice atmosphere in evening and a vast variety of restaurant.
Nice and atmospheric place, especially in evening or at night. Nate and restaurant with a variety of food - mainly the usual burgers, Italian, pizza and a few specials in between. Shops you will find more interesting in the side and parallel streets on both sides…

The Place to be seen in Sofia
This is definitely the main street of Sophia and where all the action is mainly at nighttime, lots of restaurants, cafes, shops etc ,also the meeting place for most people I would think. Boulevard seems to go forever with things to do and see on both sides, plan to visit during day and night for the contrast in atmosphere. I had dinner every night on this strip lots of options for all budgets.

    A fancy upscale walking street
There is nothing wrong with visiting Vitosha Street. But I wouldn't go out of my way to return. It's a perfectly pleasant pedestrian friendly boulevard with fancy shops, touristy stores, and overpriced restaurants and cafes. Take a stroll down the street, but I'd shop and eat elsewhere.

I Bought Rose Beauty Products Crazily Here 🥰
This long street is very near to my hotel thus I had walked through nearly 10 times during my 6-day stay. There're around 6 souvenir shops selling Bulgarian products mainly rose related ones. Price varies so you better have a browse at a few shops first before deciding which one to shop. The quality of the products is very good and organic. I want to come again just for the beauty products one day in future 😍😍. The restaurants along this boulevard are not great though.

Pleasant central location to people watch and have a coffee or beer
The views of Vistosha mountain at the bottom of the Boulevard make this a rather special street, especially in Spring when it is still crowned in snow. Some good bars and cafes along the Boulevard too. The restaurants tend to be expensive and better quality and service can be had in the streets of central Sofia!

    Tourist area
A pedestrianized street, but has 2-3 cross streets that cars use. Plenty of up market shops. Plenty of restaurants with outside seating in enclosed areas, but be aware that smoking is allowed inside of these enclosed restaurant areas. There is a big park at the east end of the street

Every country or even every city has one! Oxford Street in London or Times Square in New York. Shops, restaurants, coffee shops, street buskers and more! Very busy. There are high street stores, souvenir shops and more. Reminded me of La Rambla in Barcelona. Nice to walk down if you need a break from sightseeing. Be mindful if you have a drink or a bite to eat here that prices are inflated! Good atmosphere. Quite a long road. Watch your bags.

I was lucky enough to stay just a half block from the center of Vitosha Boulevard so it was an easy walk. Everything seems to be located right here on the boulevard so I had my choice of all sorts of shops, cafe's and restaurants. There are many benches along the way as well, perfect for people watching and watching the occasional street show so in the perfect sunny and warm fall weather I made the most of it!

If it was in another country I might only flag this as average but in Sofia itself it is a good place to hang out, sit in one of the many cafes/bars and people watch. We tried a couple of the restaurants along this boulevard either for lunch or evening meal and generally the service is okay; you need to ask for your food to be hot as the locals prefer to eat their food 'cool' as we found out, and try to find somewhere you can avoid the smoking as it's quite constant. Service is not great and reading reviews we found out it is quite well known for poor service compared to what you might be used to but if you're not in a hurry then stop by here. It is quite 'buzzy' in the evenings but we actually preferred an area at the far end of Vitosha Boulevard (if you are walking from the National Palace of Culture) which is near the Oborishte neighbourhood (and the Rila Hotel) where they have some lovely bars and restaurants and the more affluent locals seem to frequent. This side of the centre is where some of the cultural points of interest are too.

This is the main shopping street in Sofia with lots of shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, Good views of Vitosha Mountain in the distance. With the variable weather in Sofia the bars/restaurants usually have sheltered rigs roofs with windows that open in good weather. Some nice clothes shops.

Lovely to wander up and down. Full of a wide selection of shops, cafes, restaurants. Seems to be the main focal point for all the locals and tourists alike, and lots of tourist hotspots all around. Don’t miss going here when in Sofia.

I like pedestrian streets. I like when it's crowded, noisy and full of life. I also like to see shops and boutiques on my left and right. These streets for me are a soul of every decent city. Sofia main street needs some washup it looks somewhat shabby and dirty. It deserves better. However, it has charm.
