The History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina currently has a fairly limited collection on display and most of it is about the 1990s war and the siege of Sarajevo. There is an interesting collection of items about the siege, an abandoned UN communications device which...More

If you are going to Tito's bar then you may as well pop in. £2.00 is worth an hour of your time, some interesting relics of the war, and a bizarre JFK exhibition.

I visited in January and there was no heat! Needless to say, crowds weren't a concern. Excellent permanent exhibits about the Siege of Sarajevo and the outcome of the war. I found the personal and home wartime items particularly interesting--the homemade stoves and lamps, the...More

I visited here in Oct 2017 to view an exhibition about the siege of Sarajevo in the 1990s. The museum was run-down, badly maintained, poorly staffed, and the exhibition itself was let down badly by poor layout and lack of lighting, guides, or context. From...More

Interesting amount of "artefacts" on display upstairs from the siege time ~ including English titles, however it's made realise how little I know/understand about the who/what/why of the war in the first place and probably expected to learn about it here. The photo exhibition showing...More
