Approaching the exterior this church does not seem particularly interesting; however immediately on entering it is obvious that the art is both unique and exceptional. Visit before 9 a.m. when the tour buses arrive like a swarm of bees.

You must visit this church during your sightseeing on central Minsk. It's very beautiful and typical orthodox.

The Russian Orthodox Church of St. Peter and St. Paul's was founded in 1612 by voluntary donations. And now Peter and Paul Cathedral is the only monument of Renaissance architecture that has preserved in Minsk.

There are three churches in this area including Holy Spirit Cathedral and up on Lenin St. the Church of the Virgin Mary. I liked this yellow church which is quite peaceful set on a massive shopping street. Worth a visit

Another beautiful church in Minsk, next to a very busy road so bring a wide angle lens if you want to capture it all in a photo. Worth visiting in the morning for the best photos. Don't miss the amazing soviet sculpture on a building...More
