Although not well publicised or sign posted i found this monument nevertheless and like similar monument across europe was humbled by its story. A simple but powerful monument to those poor people of the jewish faith who perrished at this site.

This is a very moving monument dedicated to the 5000 Jewish prisoners, men, women and children, who on March 2, 1942 were brought here, shot and buried, some still alive.

Close to the centre of Minsk but hard to find in the gardens outside an apartment block. Quiet dignity.

The monument is a short walk from the doubletree. Very somber rememberance of the 2000 murdered by the nazis on this spot during WWII.

it was a bit challenging to find this place but im very happy I did. Belarus has many memorial sites and this small one is one of the most impressive, albeit its small size.
