    Odd, but accessible
This sculpture, not far from Skanderbeg Square was designed by a famous Japanese architect. It is rather quirky and accessible, but I did not find it awe inspiring. It does, however, add to the rich variety of architecture that can be seen across Tirana.

    Art cloud
While in Tirana, Albania I came to see this modern art installation outside the National Gallery of Arts. You can walk around it and climb or just sit and relax. It was a nice peaceful area.I really enjoyed it. From what I have read it was once in my capital city of London but I never knew. Reja was designed by a Japanese architect: Sou Fujimoto. The structure of the installation, the white transparency, creates a geometric form that looks like a cloud and it looks as if mist is rising in the park in front of the Gallery

    Modern Art
An interesting piece of outside modern art. You can go inside it and sit and contemplate but probably not for that long. Probably worth a look at when walking around the city centre. The murals on the walls behind are equally interesting to me!

Lots of public art in Tirana and this one allows you to walk through, climb, sit in it. To be viewed from the street as well as within. Fascinating how slender pieces give it form.

This installation is on a key junction . It bemuses everyone but it is loved because it is quirky. It is a selfie site close to the Pyramid and the Toptani / Kalaja area

Maybe many people don't really agree it looks like a cloud, still, it represent modern Albanian art. If you really want to see it like a cloud you should see it from a bit further location, preferably from above, if you can. Anyway it is made of steel and plastic and it is located, as all main attractions of Tirana, near the main square. Not really much to do or see but still interesting.

Have visited a number of these annual Serpentine Pavilions in their original location in Hyde Park, London over the years

Couldn't say that this was one of the best they have erected

All a bit filling in of empty space

The place is ok for walking by but not really interesting. It seems to be interactive but the explanation was only in Albanian language
