Plenty of market stalls along and around the wharf area. Everything from fish/seafood to local fruit and vegetables, handicrafts, souvenirs and bargains if you delve deeper. The locals are friendly, very approachable, willing to help and share local knowledge. Good food and cold drinks are...More

No need to book a private tour it will be a waste of money, the stall holders are so friendly and when they know you are from overseas they go on and help you even more. Also barter but keep in mind they don't make...More

We were on a Princess Cruise, just recently. Disembarking to walk around Suva, we saw markets on the wharf, and across the road. The hand crafts amazing, the clothes just great, and fruit and vegetables a plenty.

There is nothing worth buying here and the vendors & hustlers will bombard you with "bula-bula" greetings trying to entice you in. I couldn't wait to take a shower when I left.

Nice play for buying souvenirs. I recommend to be aware about prices, first have a look and the make decisions.

Not much here unless you want custom made saris. Much of the stalls were exactly the same stuff. I couldn't find 1 thing to purchase. Everyone is very friendly however.

Not a flea market in the traditional sense it has a vast choice of reasonably priced Masi and other traditional handicrafts. Only a few minutes walk from the Suva fruit and veg markets along the same street worth a visit to at least have a...More

People there are very religious. They shut down most everything on Sunday. However, There are some wonderful parks there which are always open. The one that runs along the waterfront is especially nice.
