Looks fancy from the outside, but there really isn't much to it. Much rather spend the shopping time roaming the streets. Food court is big with plenty of options, but apart from that there's not much reason to go.

We arrived on a cruise ship and took the free shuttle to the shopping centre. Big mistake. The traffic is so bad that it took 20 minutes to drive there. We could have walked there in 5 minutes! The mall is on 4 levels with...More

A real disappointment. The malls around it were better. The local markets nearby were much more interesting. It really wasn’t anything more than a big Farmers store (in the NZ context)

Was a great place to visit when it finally opened on Sunday afternoon. Lots of different shops, spread over 4 levels, with a great food curt on the top level, with a wide range of places to eat, from local to chain. Great views out...More

Good collection of shops, a supermarket, and speciality stores, lots of attentive staff, good quick service, well suited to handling large groups from cruise ships. Lots of local products, as well as the usual tourist "junk". and the supermarket had a good range of Aussie...More

This was our second visit, the first a few years ago also by cruise ship. We walked right to it, and they still had very nice fairly priced wood carvings supposedly made on the island. Made there or not, they are well done at a...More

Tappoo City is an amazing place to shop to your hearts desire and then eat till you can't eat anymore. The Food Court is excellent with a wide range of restaurants. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing day off.

Soulless branded shops, tacky, ugly mall that might as well be in any city. Only saving graces: a food court on the top floor and it's open on public holidays.

Bula to all was the greeting here, but this town has two sides to it when walking about. On the one hand you have rows and rows of shops, none of them outstanding and non of them air conditioned, making more than 5 minutes in...More
