It’s always a great idea to haggle to get the prices down, or better yet go with a local to get reasonable prices. Most of this sellers are middleman, but it’s always a great idea to ask where the goods sold are actually from. Some...More

I visited the Handicrafts Centre a couple of times while in Fiji. The stalls are packed with traditional hand crafted items. The stall holders are friendly and welcoming. I advise that if you plan on taking any items back home/overseas that you ensure you know...More

This was a day visit to Suva as we were on a cruise ship. We found the handicraft centre after being directed by locals. The stalls are set up individually with the sellers standing out side each one and inviting you to go in and...More

What a place, you go once but not twice! It is really made for tourists. All the shops have almost the same articles. You don’t know if the articles sold are made in Fiji by artisans or automatically produced in local factories or even made...More

This is the best place in Fiji we found for souvenirs, and the price is right. Unlike most places we've visited in the South Pacific, the stock here is almost completely home grown. While everyone wants you to look in their stall, they are not...More

This is an excellent place to purchase Fijian Artifacts. The range available in the multiple shops is amazing. Just a word of caution: you have to bargain strongly to get the best price. Also be aware of the sword sellers who hover nearby.
