wonderful collection of fruits, veggies, flowers, and handcrafts in a typical tropical country central market: a little dark, a little stiffling, a little aromatic, but also colorful and with friendly vendors.
Plenty of local produce including fish/seafood. Interesting handicrafts, older bric-a-brac to be found if you ask or look closely. Local food and ice-cold drinks are close at hand. The people are very friendly and willing to share local knowledge. Recommend you pay a visit.
Amazing market rammed full with all sorts, inside and out. Thronging with people and activity. We felt very safe here and the vendors were friendly. Bought mountains of fruit and veg. Mangos and cassava bread outside for $2. Upstairs seemed to be mainly for kava...More
