My mother and I stopped here briefly as part of a day trip around the Sigatoka area. From what I understand, public access to this beach is difficult to find however, as we had a tour guide we didn’t have this trouble.
The beach itself...More
We have paid for two boat trips to islands off Lautoka and Nadi, only to be disappointed by how little we have seen. No, this reef is still not representative of the bright and colourful photos you can find on the internet, but we saw...More
Beautiful beach that is quite secluded as the drive here takes some time, especially getting out of Nadi, but getting away from the hustle and bustle of people & traffic (none of that out here) is a huge bonus & makes going here so worth...More
Beautiful beach with no stones in the water. We always have a great day there. There is a fair bit of rubbish around up near the public carpark entry but they have bought a large green container for it. Tide is strong on some days...More

Well it is possible to get a bus from the Lautoka bus stand going to Suva but if it is not an express it will take you hours just to get to the Tuvu junction then you may be fortunate enough to find a taxi there but more than likely not. Then more waiting. If you were staying in Fiji then fine but on a cruise ship time is of the essence. You would be far better off to get a cab into the bus station and arrange a mini bus or 5 seat taxi and negotiate a price for the day including waiting time
As long as you have a full complement of passengers it could cost around $30 nz pp. Don't hold me to that price but you can negotiate something acceptable to you and the driver.
