After an exhaustive amount of time on the internet before travelling to Fiji, in search of a decent price for Hair Braiding, my cherubs and I found the perfect person, Asena, at the Handicraft Market in Nadi Town. The Handicraft market is a one-stop-shop for...More

We popped in to get some last minute souvenirs before heading home. It is easy to find, all the taxi drivers know where it is, down the end of Nadi's main drag. There are about 15 stalls, most sell the same mass produced stuff, prices...More

We went through the market and there were lots of similar things, such as Kava bowels, in a number of the shops, also similar to a number of shops on the street. The shop keepers were often original and entertaining with their banter and fine...More

A man approached me and struck up a conversation, then invited me into his shop because he wanted to show me his village on the map. He introduced me to several other people and they gave me a welcome kava ceremony. It was a cool...More

The shop keepers are super friendly, and have tales to share, you can haffle with them and get some great bargains, thoroughly enjoyed myself.

First burre has nice things and owner is very friendly. Beware in all stalls of prices, vendors all quite pushy, be prepared to say no many times, make note of what things are going for at Jack’s first!

Would not consider this a market at all. There was only 10ish stalls all offering the same sort of things; some bags, dresses and wooden craft. The people were pushy and blocked you into their stalls making it difficult and awkward to get out. The...More

We passed by while shopping in Nadi. I was excited and thought this is where i can get local handmade souvenirs. Wrong!! Most of the stuffs look like the stuff we see in Hawaii(most likely made in the philipines or china). Even the one stall...More

Not too many visitors at the Nadi handicraft market. There are only a few stalls with typical local handicrafts, bargaining is the word.

I thought we'll find a souvenir but this more an ordinary market, handicrafts aren't much around. A small handicrafts market in the center of Nadi. The vendors can get pushy, ignore is the best thing to do. Therefore I barely have seen the stuff. They...More

This is a small market selling the same type of products in every single stall. Be prepared to be hounded too by each and every stall holder. If you like to haggle then it’s a fun way to spend some time getting some trinkets and...More

I’m sure there is one stall or maybe 2 that sells small musical instruments. From memory there is one at the very back of the market and one of the free standing buildings sell ukuleles and small drums.
