These markets are great. Lots of local merchandise and heaps of choice food wise. Friendly stall holders. Good place to pick up souvenirs and grab something to eat. Glad we went quite early in the morning because it did get extremely hot.

It gets very crowded and it's so hot and no shade! Plenty of parking ........street parking just before the market. Much of the same "stuff", clothing, pearls, food and music. When in Rarotonga it's something you just have to do.

Great market. Has a very good vibe, relaxed and friendly. Watching the singing and dancing whilst eating tasty food and wandering about the stalls was good fun.

My hubby and I knew about this market before we arrived in Rarotonga and were told by several people here to go to this market. The atmosphere was brilliant and it was overly crowded so we couldn't easily walk around. It had everything from souvenirs...More
