Like I said, this is just a tall building...there is some history about the architect who constructed it. However there are several of these around the world...some much higher and more picturesque. Didn't get a chance to enter, so cannot comment on the interior.

It is free with a guided tour. This modern architecture is beautiful and the view from the higher floor its just amazing, you can see all Montevideo and nearbys from there. Usually you would pay tons of money for a view like this in other...More

Another great free attraction: the security is very good, guard lets you in, the elevator operator takes up to the 26th floor and all the top to bottom windows offer a 360 view of the city and its surroundings. The pictures indicating the different buildings...More

My wife and I walked all the way over to this place on Saturday morning, only to find it locked up tightly. Very disappointing. We did however, enjoy the walk back, except for the blocks and blocks and blocks and blocks of ugly graffiti. EVERYWHERE!

I would say that for tourist is not a place to go specially. If you do a city tour you can drive by.

By far here you will find the best view of Montevideo . This is a Public Building of the local phone company and they have also some guides that will answer your questions. Free admision.
