This is a large, interesting sculpture sitting in the centre of a fountain, in the centre of a small square. Seems quite a lively spot as there are several cafes inside the plaza, many with outdoor seating. The modern art museum is also here.

While walking along the Av. 18 de Julio we found this square a perfect place to rest and watch the movement of people. There is a well crafted monument in the fountain that will render some nice pictures.

A lovely place to escape to from the avenue - to just sit and watch the locals and the pigeons go about their days.

The Plaza Fabini is a beautiful area of grass, trees and fountains on the main boulevard in Montevideo. It is a scenic place to sit and enjoy people watching and also the sounds of the fountains and the city.
