We had a great time river rafting in the sacred valley. We were a party of 7 with 3 kids (10, 14 and 16). It was cold out and the rafting company provided wetsuits and wind breakers and helmets. We had quite a few level...More

Our family (me, the wife and our two boys aged 14 + 16) done this having developed a taste on level-5 waters in Costa Rica last year. Now we knew this wouldn't be as good as it would be a maximum of level-3, however, we...More

We took a 2-hour tour with barely speaking English guides that was quite lovely and a nice change of pace. There were 4 boats loaded in all. During May the river was quite calm, so it was more of a rafting versus white water trip,...More

The instructors were good fun and informative throughout the rafting. The rafting was mostly tame so was good for first timers and set in a great location with Incan Ruins either side of the river. At the end of the rafting there was no vegetarian...More

River Rafting the Urubamba River was a very nice outing with lovely scenery. This is a wonderful experience for first time rafters as the water is very calm. If your an experienced white water rafter, this may be too clam a ride for you.

Took a private rafting trip on the Urubamba River outside Ollantaytambo and had a great time. We encountered rapids up to Class III. Got VERY wet and the river was COLD. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a little adventure.

Maybe we were in the wrong season but the water level was low, and the rapids were far and few and never got really exciting. So basically we spent most of the time floating or paddling on a flat river and all in all we...More

Following our scary experience in the Titicaca Lake (when we came back from the Taquile Island we had very wavy lake due to a windy afternoon), I needed some time to persuade my wife to have this rafting (the beginner degree of course...), oh boy,...More

Absolutely loved this day trip to the river rafts. Spent the morning on the coach and zip lining whilst the afternoon was on the river for just over 2 hours. Wetsuits were provided and a homemade meal was ready on arrival after the rafting. The...More
