I went on the first entry group of the day which i think is the best as you get to see the sunrise. Make sure you pack plenty of water and the odd snack. On my hike i passed a number of people who turned back due to fitness or altitude sickness. Be prepared! but well worth the hike

You have to climb up here! I promise you won't forget this adventure ever! The view is breathtaking and the climb up a perfect altitude training. There is not much to add. Just check the overall rating and get impressed. Please note: if you are afraid of heights think about climbing Winawayna twice. A friend of mine nearly peed his... More

What a hike. If you are scared of heights, narrow stairs on the edge of oblivion or lightening ...do it anyway. YOU MUST MAKE reservations way ahead of time.

If you can do this hike, you MUST! It took us a little over an hour to get to the top with many quick stops to catch our breath and take in the view. It's not about getting to the top quickly, but the journey to the top. It was a bit wet the day we did this climb and... More

Its a long steep walking up the stairs...but its all worth it. If you walk with a steady pace, you can reach the summit in less than an hour (as stated in the map at the front) The view up there is just fantastic. If you do the sun gate as well...you will see the different side of MP...which also... More

Seeing this place was a highlight in a trip full of highlights. From a distance it's hard to believe it could exist up in the mountains this high, accessible only by the narrow hiking trail we are on. But there it is.
