Fantastic place with lots of music, art galleries and surrealist designs. There is typical food everywhere, people always greet you, the weather is perfect ... its a city from a storybook

Not the safest of places in Lima. It has some very run down neighborhoods. Witnessed 5 Serenganza trying to tackle a drug addict who then ran into the street to escape and was hit by a bus. This literally happened right next to the bridge...More

If you have at least a day to spend in Lima, do yourself a favor and spend some time in Barranco. The public parks are bustling, the street art is fantastic, the coffee shops are expert, and the shopping is, on average, better and more...More

We are American ex pats who were set on moving to Miraflores until we experienced Barranco! Barranco is amazing - so much history, culture, eclectic, music, art, food, amazing parks, and close to the shore. Hands down we LOVE living in Barranco

Great walk around town. Visit artisans, bars and restaurants. Colourful and full of life, visit the municipal park for some street food in the evening.... did I mention 10 sols Piscos!

I love barranco. Its very tourist friendly and Its for for all ages. There are parks as well as mueseams. Its fun and you see a lot of Lima.

That is a tough question. I do not recall seeing any when in Barranco. If there are any, likely try the surrounding areas.
