Lima is in a rain shadow so there is lots of dust , this part of town has sea breezes to clear up the air , nice shopping and places to eat

This is by far the prettiest part of Llama. Went for a drive and then a walk through the old part of town and the old homes were beautiful. The town is well maintained and the islands between the roads are full of flowers and well maintained. Lots of nice restaurants and just a great way to spend some down... More

Barranco is my favorite part of Lima. It has so much character and charm. It is always a delight to visit and stroll through the streets. Some great places to eat as well and lot's to see.

This neighborhood is definitely worth checking out. It has a very bohemian vibe and we enjoyed walking around and stopping into one of the many bars for a pisco sour. There is also a long narrow walkway that allows you to get right up to the beach.

Lots of authentic Peruvian cuisine restaurants. Try Roky's Chicken, Don Mario Anticucheria. Good for a night stroll through the parak and Puente de los Suspiros

If you are looking for a great place to dine with sea views, then this is the place to go. This "bohemian" pedestrian quarter offer several places , some of which have large terraces looking at the sea.

Barranco has a lot of different things to offer but the traffic is currently crazy in almost all downtown areas. I would recommend to get there and explore it by foot. On the bottome of the cliffs, there are beaches and walks that are ok. The more interesting walks are up on the cliffs with great views. There is also... More
