Lizardo is the one that made our visit at the Mansion worth the trip to Lima. He shared his stories with passion, made us feel at home and we fell in love with the house. Thank You Sir!

This old blue three-story colonial mansion with the classic miradors is just off the Plaza de Armas . It was constructed in the early 1800s and for a time was the tallest building in the city. It now belongs to the Education Ministry and houses an old Medical and Science Library. We viewed some old 17th century books and toured its many old-style rooms. It must have been a super-elegant in years past.
